Cybersecurity for Facility-Related Control Systems
Totem Tech specializes in cybersecurity planning and implementation for Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS), including but not limited to the following system types:
- Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
- Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
- Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS)
- Utility Control Systems (UCS)
- Energy Management and Control Systems (EMCS)
- Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
- Fire and Life Safety Systems (FLSS)
Our cybersecurity team will help you implement Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), including the following specs:
- UFGS 25 05 11 – Cybersecurity for Facility-Related Control Systems
- UFGS 25 08 11 – Risk Management Framework for Facility-Related Control Systems
What to Expect During the FRCS Engagement
Totem Tech will work with you to implement the UFGS requirements as defined within the DoD’s FRCS Cybersecurity Plan Guidance. Actions taken may include:
- Designing and planning cybersecurity programs for Facility-Related Control Systems
- Developing an asset inventory for all FRCS system components up to Level 3
- Vulnerability and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) scans on FRCS components
- Performing a Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment and developing RMF packages for all relevant systems
- Identifying mitigation efforts, including the count of mitigations required, the percent complete, and the estimated cost to mitigate
- Performing mitigation efforts where feasible and permitted, including vulnerability scanning and system hardening
- Creating a Continuous Monitoring plan to support ongoing cyber hygiene
- Providing a summary of actions taken to ensure FRCS cybersecurity practices are implemented
