Adam Austin is the Cybersecurity Lead at Totem.Tech. Mr. Austin has over a decade of experience securing classified, unclassified, and HIPAA-environment US Government IT systems, having worked with NASA, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Systems (CMS), and all branches of the Department of Defense. Adam holds a Master’s in Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University, and is an ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Registered Practitioner (CMMC-RP). Adam’s goal is to leverage his experience and education to help small businesses in regulatory environments implement affordable, compliant, risk-based cybersecurity programs.

Alli is an Army veteran with over a decade of engineering and project management experience. After working for a Fortune 200 company, he decided he would prefer life without the corporate politics. In lessons learned from that experience he started his own small business while moonlighting at a small food manufacture and working in a ski resort retail store. He won two Department of Defense contracts worth more than 50 million dollars from proposals he wrote in his basement. Now his focus and dedication are geared towards helping other small businesses navigate cybersecurity compliance.
Matt Nece is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant with over two decades of experience as an electronics technician as well as client systems administration. His background is complemented by a Master’s in Cybersecurity Science from Bellevue University, CompTIA Security+ certification, Linux+ certification and extensive additional technical and leadership training. He partners with Air Force weather personnel and DoD contractors in the development of innovative IT and technical solutions to support US warfighters all over the world. His goal is to leverage his experience to empower other veteran-owned small businesses in their cybersecurity needs.

Nathan is passionate about small business cybersecurity. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Weber State University and is an Associate of ISC2 (CISSP), CompTIA Security+ certified as well as a PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). Nathan’s goal is to help small businesses in regulated and unregulated spaces learn how to reduce their cybersecurity risk.
Ryan Tucker is a Cybersecurity Engineer for Totem Technologies and is a seasoned IT expert in a multitude of industries, from Ecommerce to Manufacturing to Healthcare. Ryan achieved his Bachelor of Science from San Jose State University in 2010. He also started his own business as a technical consultant operating throughout Utah. He has worked in multiple platforms and ecosystems, including Windows, Mac, Azure, and numerous server platforms. As a technology enthusiast and creative problem solver, Ryan’s goal is to leverage his 20 years of experience in IT to help small and medium-sized businesses navigate the complex world of cybersecurity.

Zoie joined Haight Bey & Associates (Totem Technologies’ former parent company) in 2020 as an Executive Assistant. In her short time with the company, she has acquired several new job capabilities and continues to strive to gain new skills every day. She currently sits in the sales position for Totem Tech and helps our customers navigate the first steps in their cybersecurity journey. Her passion is to assist people in whatever way she can. Zoie has quite an organizational skill set; she is meticulous to detail and helps keep everyone on task and on track. Zoie is also a mother to three kids and is currently attending Weber State University, working on obtaining her degree.
